Afyer reading other reviews and learning they even held a Yelp event here I knew I had to check it out. I was not disappointed! ! I came in for lunch and got the spaghetti and meatballs. There was a handful of other customers here, all looking very pleased. The staff greeted me quite genuinely and I ordered. I only got a small and the portion was surprisingly big! The price was quite fair as well. The staff all had smiles on their faces and seemed happy to be working there. I sat down to eat and was amazed at how good the food was! I will definitely be returning some time after work so I can enjoy one of their craft beers! They even have some iowa brewed beers as well! Can't wait to come back!

Tasty though a bit pricy for the end result. Pros: next to Jordan Creek, open late (for West Des Moines), big bowl, flavourful. Noodle dish alone is cheap. Cons: adding chicken adds almost 30%. For chicken.

This was my first and only Yelp Elite Event and it was awesome! It started a lil late, which I'll have to take into consideration next time that these events may run long, but it was worth it. :) The "Eliters" were all super friendly and cool - I thoroughly enjoyed meeting and hanging out with them. The host was completely hospitable and informative. I had no idea that Noodles & Company used so much local, organic and fresh food! It was amazing - all the drinks were complimentary from the Coca-Cola Freestyle Machine to local beers. I loved each course - the portions were huge, and everything was flavorful and delicious. I was super impressed with the food, the attention to detail, etc. I was blown away that they made separate tasting dishes to accommodate the vegetarians (one of whom was my guest) so that they could have modified versions of what we were tasting... I have visited Noodles & Company several times since and will attribute them all to this tasting, which left such a positive impression on me... Thanks, Patrick! :)

I frequent this place at least once a.week. Mainly due to the easy options and consistently good food. All meals are prepared fresh to order with fresh ingredients. All are mostly healthy options and can be tailored to your needs. If you are a vegan this is a hood place to get your grub on. Wayyyyy better than the fast fast food.

Decent experience. Grabbed some mac n cheese and edamame. Edamame was cold and that was unexpected. The mac n cheese was nothing to write home about.

Great for pick up as well. Very quick! Much better than McDonalds for picking up a meal on the way home from work.

Noodles and Co is great! They use fresh local ingredianats when they can! They sell local beers, they have tons of super healthy stuff! I love the Curry tofu soup, I love how crispy the tofu is and everything else in the dish is fresh and delightful. It's a lot of food for the price too! But you never feel gross or bloated afterword. The staff here is fantastic. Super nice, helpful recommendations, all with a smile! The SodaPop Machines are space Aged, touched screened and super from the future! If your looking for a rad place to get a quick, healthy meal, that is not going to blow the budget, this is a great option! Total A+ Corperate Restaruant!

Very nicely put together event on the whole--friendly and hospitable staff who truly had a passion for what they do. The food items presented were very appropriate for the season and it was a pleasure getting to meet some of the other people whose reviews I've read. The tomato bisque soup had very nice accents to it and the basil accompaniment fills it out very well. Thanks to Patrick and co. for putting this event on.

I always like Noodles and Co. as it keeps everyone happy in the family, and that is always a tough order. Everything on the menu is vegetarian-friendly since it can be made without meat or with tofu. They also have new Buff bowls that are spinach instead of the noodle base with extra vegetables. Add meatballs for the hubs and he's happy, plain Mac for the daughter and we are all set. Any complaints - I am always cold anyway, but this place is just short of Hoth for temperatures. Turn down the air. They also have an online app for pick up orders. It doesn't customize as well as I would like, but works pretty well. Nice little patio here too! They even serve beer and wine. Need to remember that for a casual night on the patio.

We got Pesto Cavatappi with Chicken, Japanese Pan Noodles, and Spaghetti with meatballs to go this evening. The cook was disgruntled, and we were already worried that our food was going to be made badly. Sure enough, the Japanese Pan Noodles are super dry and don't taste right. My husband's Cavatappi only has 3 little pieces of chicken. The Spaghetti and Meatballs barely has any sauce in it. So dry we couldn't eat it.

Love coming out here after or before doing our grocery (I waited till I get home to do the review since I was so stuffed). They have another location over by Valley West, but I would rather come all the way here. Everything on their menu is simple but the taste is what makes in special. When I first came here and try, I was a little skeptical. They used to have the adobo flatbread and I'm glad they actually get rid of it because it didn't taste quite as how adobo would taste and I had cooked adobo a thousand times before. Then I came back I noticed that they no longer have it. Yey! My husband always order The Med. Me and daughter just share the meatballs sub or spaghetti. The proportion is really for sharing. I would rather come here to go to fast food drive through. The place is always clean and not super busy so they'll check on you every now and then to make sure everything is ok with the food or the service. This may not be budget friendly but if you know how to share that shouldn't be an issue. I would certainly come back to this place for a simple sub.

Very average noodles. Tried a couple of different noodles and they did not feel very different.

Another fine YELP Elite event! Great company (as always) and a fantastic sampling of Noodles and Co. spring menu - all made with (largely) locally sourced fresh ingredients, in a kitchen free of microwaves, deep fryers, and freezers. BBQ chicken corn salad was excellent (fresh and tangy), Japanese pan noodles (nice firm tofu and a just a hint of spice/burn at the end)... oh, and Iowa brewery options. Thanks to Noodle's Pete and Tom, and YELP's Patrick.

In the past year the quality has gone down quite a bit... they are skimping a lot on the sauce, resulting in dry pasta, and it seems like they have been including less of the fresh ingredients in their pasta dishes to save money (dishes that used to include fresh mushrooms, spinach, etc are now basically just noodles and sauce and no fresh ingredients at all). I do like Noodles & Company, and I am a big fan of their soup & sandwich/salad combo, but the quality of their pasta dishes (their namesake!) has gone downhill very quickly. I am not sure if it is at all Noodles & Company locations or just this one, but it is quite disappointing!

This place is decent. Moderate prices and a wide variety of pasta dishes so a lot of different tastes can be accommodated. The dining room is a bit closer to fast food than I would like, it's a fine line between "fast casual" and "fast food" but I think they are on the wrong side decor-wise. Bright side: my mac and cheese was pretty tasty and they had a handful of regional beers available at very reasonable prices. Lot's of kids here so if you are into that whole "procreating" thing this might be a decent place to end up some night.

My first and far from last visit to Noodles & Company. What a cool opportunity to explore the well thought out menu and sample local breweries with the Yelp elite crew! My plus one and I came away full and happy, complete with Yelp swag and tidy to-go containers of tasty Noodles leftovers that were too good to waste. They really emphasize the whole, "no microwaves, no can openers, no freezers, no heat lamps... just knives and fresh local food!" thing, incorporating local produce as it becomes available. It makes the foot stand out in a good way! The noodle portion of the menu is organized so that the columns are by style and the rows are ordered by popularity. So that if you're in a hurry and just scanning the top row you'll end up with a popular dish. Everything I tried was good though, so it's hard to go wrong. Everything is customizable as well... so if you do go wrong, it's your fault. I could have eaten the whole family size platter of "Backyard Barbecue Chicken Salad" but refrained in anticipation of the courses to come. Another standout was the "Asparagus di Parma"... it was good the first time and again when I reheated it for lunch the next day. "Japanese Pan Noodles" I preferred with beef over the tofu version. The rice krispie treats and cookies offered for dessert were the perfect consistency and of course, taste! The "Smolder from Boulder" seasoning set out on the tables really does smolder... so be careful! It was fabulous on the "Wisconsin Mac N Cheese." Another tidbit, that Blonde Fatale by Peace Tree Brewing has a sneaky 8.5% ABV. And it's darn good as well.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
